My Wish

My eyes are my soul, and my feelings too And they burned bright, when they set upon you My stomach sunk, and my heart rose Why you?re so perfect, God only knows Your beautiful brown eyes and breathtaking brown hair Captivated my gaze, so long as I stare When your smile forms from ear to ear My heart pumps faster and my death is near But a muscle must work harder to keep up the pace As my tongue works harder to keep up your taste When your lips decide to part, my reality it steals Inevitable to the end, just like strawberry fields I want nothing more than to hold you close And tell you how I love you the most Whisper poems in your ear And remind you that you have nothing to fear If given a wish, my wish would say "I wish for your wish to come true today"
